ROARR!! Celebrates over one year with LEAPS
LEAPS launched on the 1st Jan 2022 and the first to join was ROARR!, the No. 1 Dinosaur Themed-Adventure Park in the UK, located just outside Norwich in Norfolk. This early adopter of the UK’s only certification scheme to independently certify the operation, the equipment and the inspection body of any type of leisure attraction was a perfect fit for LEAPS. The diversity of their attractions from a high ropes course to indoor soft play and their plans for a new Gigantosaurus Land made it an easy switch across to LEAPS.
Adam Goymour the Park Director at ROARR! said of his first year with LEAPS, “We are proud to be LEAPS’ first member. LEAPS is a progressive safety scheme in the Tourism Industry, which we wanted to be a part of. This accreditation not only certifies us putting public safety front and centre by keeping everyone and everything in check by meeting the highest of safety standards, but it will keep us up-to-date with the latest industry guidance and best practice with HSG175 and EN13814 for example. Public and Crew safety is a part of our core company values, so it was a natural fit with the progression of the park and industry and having the LEAPS logo at our park, will be a key identifier for our guests that our attraction is as safe as possible for public enjoyment.”
Of the future with LEAPS he said “I am very excited to see how this safety scheme develops and progresses and in particular the future training for our staff in the industry, where I understand LEAPS will provide applicable and suitable certification pertaining to our industry with the safe operation, maintenance and managing of rides and attractions that is recognised and provides a standard.”
