Haven joins LEAPS in a new leisure safety partnership.
Haven, the UK’s leading holiday park operator, has entered into a strategic safety partnership with LEAPS, bringing all eligible leisure assets across Haven’s 39 UK parks into the LEAP Scheme for independent inspection and certification. Through this collaboration, LEAPS will apply its structured, risk‑based framework to Haven’s leisure attractions creating a consistent benchmark for safety, governance and asset integrity.
Working closely with Haven’s safety teams, LEAPS will review existing controls, validate compliance with relevant standards and good practice, and apply certification across defined asset categories. The programme focuses on proportional, evidence‑based assurance through formal reviews, sampling and ongoing oversight, supporting continuous improvement in safety and guest experience.
“Haven is committed to delivering safe, memorable holidays for every guest, and this partnership with LEAPS strengthens that commitment,” said Helen Hayes, General Counsel at Haven. “Bringing our leisure assets into the LEAP Scheme provides an additional layer of independent assurance that complements our internal systems and underlines our focus on doing the right thing for our guests, our people and our partners.”
Jon Ruddock added: “We are delighted to welcome Haven into the LEAP Scheme. By integrating Haven’s leisure portfolio into our certification framework, we are establishing a long-term safety partnership built on transparency, technical rigor and shared learning.”
The partnership will roll out through a phased programme across all parks, with both organisations using the collaboration to share data, insights and best practice to drive innovation in leisure safety.
