LEAPS is proud to announce a collaborative effort with the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) to provide specialized training for Environmental Health Officers (EHOs) on the safety and compliance requirements for trampoline parks.
Training sessions will be conducted over the next few months, culminating in a comprehensive workshop in March 2025.
Trampoline parks have become a popular leisure activity, but ensuring their safety requires a thorough understanding of BS EN 23659:2022 Sports and Recreational Facilities – Trampoline Parks – Safety Requirements. These sessions are designed to equip EHOs with the knowledge and tools to assess compliance, mitigate risks, and ensure public safety in line with the latest standards.
This training is essential for Environmental Health Officers, who play a critical role in inspecting and enforcing safety at trampoline parks. The sessions will also provide value to park operators, industry stakeholders, and inspectors who want to better understand the importance of adherence to safety regulations.
What to Expect:
Tony Knutsen, Safety Compliance and Assurance Lead at LEAPS, said:
“Safety is the cornerstone of our work, and this training reflects our commitment to supporting EHOs and the HSE in protecting public safety. By enhancing knowledge and skills, we aim to ensure trampoline parks are as safe as they can be and compliant for everyone who uses them.”
