This intensive training programme runs in 3-hour sessions with up to 8 engineers per group, led by the Precision Chains Technical Team. Delivered on-site at LEAPS, the course blends technical expertise with practical demonstrations to give engineers confidence in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of chain-driven ride systems.

Introduction & Objectives Understanding the critical link between chain care, ride safety, and uptime.
Chain and Sprocket Fundamentals Identifying chain types, materials, and stress factors, plus inspection techniques.
Best Practices for Installation Alignment methods, tensioning, lubrication systems, and common pitfalls to avoid.
Proactive Preventative Maintenance (PPM) Daily, weekly, and monthly inspection routines, elongation measurement, and digital record-keeping.
Lubrication Masterclass Selecting the right lubricants, avoiding over/under-lubrication, and exploring automatic systems.
Failure Prevention & Troubleshooting Early warning signs, root cause analysis, and diagnostic tools such as ultrasonic testers and borescopes.
